Baltimore Works was located at historic Fell's Point on the east side of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, on land that has undergone a dramatic transformation in the last decade.

On a site where laborers processed chromium ore for well over a century, offices, residential buildings and retail space will soon welcome workers, residents, tourists, shoppers and pedestrians in a redevelopment carefully tailored to the unique character of the Fell's Point community.

Plans for redevelopment of the site—now known as Harbor Point—have made this 27-acre parcel a national example of the beneficial reuse of former industrial sites.

Twelve years after work was completed to prevent chromium at the site from polluting the environment, 100 percent of the more than 4,400 samples drawn from the waters of the harbor meet regulatory criteria for chromium levels.
